I did not state that I include myself myself in this post, so for the record I do. AS far as it being a dig for someone, actually no its not. I tend not to be subtle when I am directing it at someone, although I might not mention names. Its just an observation of life, it might not look at it in a rosy way, but it is still life. We are social creatures at the end of the day, when we interact with other people we do so because we need something. I do not have a problem with this, although I was feeling a bit down when I wrote it, but that just sometimes brings clarity. In fact I will go into my early morning to explain in more detail. At 7.20am my niece phoned up (woke me up to be exact) to ask for a lift to college), probably because she just could not be bothered to get up early enough for the bus (late night, the night before). So I thought, yea no problem, go pick her up and take her to college, round trip about 15 miles and an hour of my time. My mother found out and was a bit concerned that I was being 'used'. I explained that I knew that, but I was fine with it as a) she was family, b) My brother has done more for me in the past, and c) it gave me a chance to talk some stuff over with my niece (I am a youth worker too), oh and I got a peck on the cheek for my troubles, lol. All of the above did not, however invalidate the statement that my niece was using me, but as I said, I am fine with that..... fair comment.
