Talk about a crappy week

I bought some wood for making shelves to put all my books on (well what else can you put on shelves then?) I put them in my car, sliding them up to my windscreen. I carefully closed the boot, got in the car and then slid the wood to one side to make room for the gears and hand brake, and then the window cracked under the pressure of the glass. Now its gonna cost me £60 to replace the wind screen.
The Healing process

I know its only a cat, but she was my cat…..
After I rushed to the vet to see if they could save Phoebes kittens, only to find out they died within seconds of her passing I came home and cleaned. I removed all traces of her from the living room, cleaned out her bowls, her litter tray, her water bowl, her basket and then I sat down.
The following day I brought home two kittens to try and bring some fun into the house, their names are Marv (after Sin City) and Midnight
RIP Phoebe and Uncle Di

A bit of a depressing post perhaps but there you go.
Phoebe died on Monday during the early evening, whilst trying to give birth to her kittens. Unfortunately she was unable to help any of them into this world and her little heart gave out while I was holding her head in my hand. I blame myself for her death for several reasons. I believed that she deserved the right to have at least one litter of kittens so refused to have her spaded even though she had a hairline fracture in her hips last January. Also the night before she died I was a bit worried and thought whether I should phone the vet for advice, its a shame I did not, as she might now be alive with kittens around her.
Earlier on today I also found out that my Great Uncle David in Yorkshire passed away in the early hours of thursday morning. I only met him about 3 times in my entire life so do not really have any memories of him.
